GROUPS WELCOME

Perup: Nature’s Guesthouse is the perfect location for your next school, church, scout or community group camp.  We can also accommodate conferences, corporate retreats, family reunions and weddings in a unique wilderness setting.

The group accommodation consists of 3 buildings: the Homestead, Bunkhouse and Per Christensen Bush Classroom.  

 

We can house up to 37 guests in the Homestead and Bunkhouse plus an additional 14 in the cottages if available.  

 

Our group accommodation facilities are all wheelchair accessible.

THE HOMESTEAD

The Homestead is a large 3 bedroom house that can sleep up to 10 guests and has a large communal living and dining area and a large kitchen that can cater for large groups.  The main bedroom has a double bed and a single bunk bed with ensuite bathroom, the second bedroom has a double bed and a single bed and the third bedroom has a bunk bed with a trundle bed.  The ensuite bathroom has shower and a flushing toilet, and the main bathroom has wheelchair accessible shower and a flushing toilet. 

The Homestead is also home to our resident brushtail possum, who lives in the old Metters stove in the corner.

The Homestead can also be hired with the adjacent Bunkhouse to accommodate large groups of up to 33 guests.

The Homestead is wheelchair accessible and has wheelchair accessible parking. 

THE BUNKHOUSE

The Bunkhouse has 7 bedrooms that can sleep 23 people and must be booked in conjunction with the Homestead.  There are separate male and female bathrooms with 2 showers and 2 toilets in each.  Pillows are provided for each of the beds, but guests are required to bring their own sleeping bags or blankets.

​There are 5 bedrooms with 1 bunk bed and 1 single bed (3 guests per room) and 2 bedrooms with 1 bunk bed, 1 single bed and a trundle bed (4 guests per room).

THE CLASSROOM

The Per Christensen Bush Classroom is a fully equipped teaching classroom with seating for up to 40 people.  A laboratory area is also available as well as a local herbarium and a collection of local fauna traces such as skulls as teaching aids.

The classroom can also be used for functions and can be booked for day use.  Use of the classroom is included with bookings of the Homestead and Bunkhouse.
